The course is accredited by KU Leuven. Course leaders: Prof. Tolleneer Jan (coordinator) (KU Leuven), Prof. De Block Andreas (KU Leuven), Prof. Vanlandewyck Yves (KU Leuven). This part of the program focuses on integrity issues on several levels, and consists of two submodules, the first dealing with able bodied sport and the second with disability sport. The moral integrity of the actors (righteousness) is extensively studied as a condition for the physical, psychological and sexual integrity of the athlete and everyone involved (intactness). Students learn to critically understand human relations and power imbalances, effectively manage the integrity problems from which they arise, and creatively make use of the social and moral potential of (adapted) physical activity. Theoretical models and practical tools support the learning processes in the interconnected submodules.
