The aim of this course to present basic milestones of Quantitative methodology which enable students to build up research design for their master thesis with quantitative character. Students will work on methods from quantitative research considering sampling, selection of dependent and independent variables, logistic process of data collection with avoiding biasing data and data analysis procedure. Students will also practically meet the most frequently used statistical approaches from inference statistic.
Aim of the course
Last update: doc. PhDr. Martin Musálek, Ph.D. (19.09.2020)

The aim of this course to acquire skills to carried out independently research study with quantitative character. After passing course students will be able to do relevant literature researching, formulating research problem, hypothesis, design the cross sectional or experimental study, find appropriate sampling method and select suitable stats approaches for data analysis.
