General and theoretical aspects of physical movement and human motorics. Motional abilities and motional skills. Interpretation, structure, biological nature and testing of motional abilities. Division of the lifelong motor development into periods. Theory of tests and measurements, standardization and diagnostics of motorics.

The aim of course is to acquire basic knowledge in motor and physical development.including skills for independent measuring of physical fitness and motor skills (orientation in test batteries its specifics in assessing of human motoric)and somatotyping.

Requirements to the exam -

Written form with open answers. In presence form the test will be held in selected room at FTVS UK. In case of distance form the written form of test will be also applied. However, this form of test will have multiple choice options with one right answer. In distance form the test would be applied in Moodle e-learning platform. Each of enrolled student would receive sing in information necessary for passing electronic version of test.

2. Brief introduction to motor individual development.

3. Introduction to motor skills and motor abilities.

4. Strength and speed ability and their development and measurement.

5. Endurance and coordination ability, their development and measurement.

6. Ontogenesis of motor abilities

7. Introduction to measurement in physical education.
