Professional English is one of the tools of professional knowledge. Knowledge of professional language in physiotherapy students finds application in a number of areas - in self-study of professional foreign literature, in participation in conferences, in the preparation of foreign language publications and, last but not least, in communication with a foreign patient / client in a clinical environment.
Aim of the course -

1.       Comprehend English terminology in the areas of anatomy, physiology and physiotherapy which is used in academic and professional textbooks, journals and lectures.

2.       Comprehend complaints, concerns and explanations communicated in English by patients in order to properly diagnose and treat foreign clients.

3.       Clearly communicate with clients in order to make proper diagnosis.

4.       Clearly communicate physical therapy instruction to foreign patients in order that patients can properly carry out rehabilitation.

5.       Communicate diagnosis and rehabilitation plans in spoken and written English with other medical professionals.
