Course characteristics Language courses are aimed at developing skills linked to aural and visual perception and include activities focused prevailingly on listening and reading comprehension.

Credit requirements

Regular class attendance . Two absences per semester are tolerated. In case of 3rd and 4th absence students are required to turn in work assigned by the teacher. 5 and more absences do not meet the basic reguirements for being granted credit.

These rules do not apply to students with individual study plans.

The level of language knowledge and speaking skills is checked throughout the semester.

For the pursposes of distance learning, the basis of our joint successful work is also the use of standard textbooks, or other sources, listed under the link "literature".

In order to meet the learning objectives and your expectations, we will use a combination of all available and permissible communication channels when teaching foreign languages, namely the MS Teams platform, the correspondence method, consultations and ongoing verification of your language competence.

Optimálně znalost cizího jazyka (obecného) na úrovni maturitní zkoušky na střední škole, tj. úroveň B1 Společného evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky (SERRJ).

Minimální předpoklad: jazyková kompetence na úrovni A2.2 SERRJ.
