Aim of the course -
Last update: PhDr. Adam Zdobinský (14.11.2023)

The aim of the course is to acquire competencies for creating music-movement activities and rhythmic gymnastics programs, as well as competencies for incorporating and leading these music-movement activities with and without equipment in various sports programs, including physical education in schools.

Upon completion of the course, the student understands the significance and impact of music-movement activities (rhythmic gymnastics and dance) and their integration into the exercise regime and programs. The student is capable of independently planning, managing, and evaluating programs and teaching with a focus on music and movement, and can respond to the current conditions of the environment and the requirements of their students and clients.

The student can prepare music, props, and equipment for the implementation of music-movement education. The student masters basic manipulation skills with equipment, both traditional (jump ropes, hoops, balls, ribbons, scarves, bars) and non-traditional (PET bottles, rattling cans, hats, hockey sticks, etc.).

The student is familiar with and can perform the basics of selected dance styles. The student can identify key points of technique for a given element or movement when exercising with equipment and for selected dance styles. They can provide feedback and apply an appropriate methodical series for practicing the given element, movement, or skill.

The student can create music-movement choreography with musical accompaniment, both without equipment and using equipment, for individuals as well as the entire group. The student can provide a well-founded reflection on the didactic outputs of their colleagues.
