Annotation -
Last update: PhDr. Adam Zdobinský (10.11.2023)
The content of the course expands practical, theoretical, and didactic knowledge in specific areas of gymnastics. It focuses on the didactics of teaching exercises with apparatus, acrobatic exercises, the teaching of exercises with traditional and non-traditional equipment, musical-movement composition, and other gymnastic skills applicable in school physical education and sports environments. Through structured learning material, illustrative demonstrations, and practical exercises, students acquire theoretical and didactic knowledge and skills that they apply in their own instruction of gymnastic activities. Graduates of the course are capable of independently and creatively creating, implementing, and teaching gymnastic activities for diverse populations, with a focus on cultivating movement expression, acquiring gymnastic skills, and stimulating movement creativity.
Aim of the course -
Last update: PhDr. Adam Zdobinský (10.11.2023)

The aim of the course is to acquire competencies for organizing and leading gymnastic activities, especially in physical education classes.

Upon completion of the course, the student understands the importance and impact of gymnastic activities and their incorporation into physical regimens and programs.

The student is capable of independently planning, managing, and evaluating programs and teaching with a gymnastic focus and can respond to current environmental conditions and the requirements of their students, pupils, and clients.

The student can prepare and organize the preparation of gymnastic equipment, aids, and apparatus for the implementation of gymnastics instruction and programs.

The student is proficient in demonstrating basic gymnastic skills in acrobatics, on the parallel bars, on the rings, in the vault, and in jumps from a small trampoline.

The student can utilize gymnastic equipment, aids, and apparatus to increase the motivation of students, the attractiveness of exercise unit content, and physical fitness.

The student can identify key points of technique for a given gymnastic element or movement, provide feedback, and apply appropriate teaching methods for practicing the given element, movement, or skill, including methods and possibilities for assistance and rescue.

The student can apply various teaching styles and organizational forms in the field of gymnastic exercises, thereby increasing the effectiveness of instruction and the attractiveness of the program for heterogeneous groups.

The student can identify a vulnerable student and create an individual education plan with regard to achieving educational goals.

The student has mastered basic manipulative skills with both traditional (rope, hoops, balls, ribbons, scarves, bars) and non-traditional equipment (PET bottles, jingling cans, caps, hockey sticks, etc.).

The student can create a music-movement choreography with musical accompaniment, both without equipment and with the use of equipment, for individuals as well as the entire group.

The student can provide a well-founded reflection on the didactic outputs of their colleagues.
