The course is a follow-up to the course "Differential Diagnostics in Physiotherapy". The aim is to acquire knowledge and the ability to comprehensively think about specific functional motor disorders with respect to individual systemic diseases. Special functional tests and a comprehensive assessment of the problem are also emphasized. It is a theoretical subject.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrate the ability to integrate knowledge from the subject Differential Diagnostic in Physiotherapy into a comprehensive thinking about specific functional disorders of motor skills with respect to individual systemic diseases
  • demonstrate knowledge of symptoms related to the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal system, endocrine system, oncology, immune system, hematology, urological diseases, gynecological diseases, psychosomatic diseases, neurological diseases, ENT and differential diagnostic approaches
  • demonstrate advanced clinical decision-making skills, ie so-called clinical reasoning and clinical judgment
