The practical schooling of 3rd year students in the departments of outpatient or inpatient clinical facilities. Students complete practices under supervision of the physiotherapist from a chosen facility. Students are demonstrating independent application of all theoretical and practical skills obtained during bachelor study.

Learning Outcomes:

The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and general competencies so that after the completion of the course the students:

  • demonstrates knowledge in working with medical records
  • demonstrates knowledge of the principles of teamwork
  • demonstrates the ability to communicate with a physiotherapist and other members of the medical team
  • demonstrates the ability to examine the patient from the point of view of a physiotherapist to the extent given by the syllabus of the bachelor's study
  • demonstrates the ability to apply physiotherapeutic approaches according to the syllabus of the bachelor's study
  • demonstrates the ability to evaluate the effect of applied procedures
  • demonstrates the ability to develop protocols on the course of the therapeutic process
  • demonstrates the ability to present, discuss and evaluate applied diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in patients

  • personal participation in the seminar on Safety and protection of health at work and fire safety training (BOZP and PP) for practical training
  • 100% attendance on practicals with active participation
  • work out a report (documentation) from practices according to the teacher´s requests

  • practical exam (the first regular term must take place before start of PFYZ066)
