Graduates of the course will be able to design a measurement design corresponding to the research objectives, practically carry out data collection and their evaluation and interpret the measurement results. Emphasis will be placed especially on the use of accelerometry k measurement of all-day physical activity. Next, we will focus on the assessment of sedentary behavior and sleep. Marginally we will also touch on the application of accelerometry for use in sports.
Aim of the course -
Last update: doc. MUDr. Ing. Tomáš Větrovský, Ph.D. (31.08.2023)

Acquire the basic skills for the objective measurement of physical activity using Actigraph, Axivity and ActivPAL accelerometers.
