The course addresses the issues of sports organizations and their role sport governance in the Czech Republic. It builds on the knowledge of sociology of organizations and public policy. Attention is focused on the activity and structure of organizations operating in the civic (voluntary) and public sectors which participate in sport governance and their mutual relationships. The course puts great emphasis on the development of sport policies in these organizations, their evaluation and success rates.
