The course provides an insight into partnership and family issues in our society. It analyses prenatal and postnatal determinants of sexual behavior, beginnings of sexual activity and problems of puberty as a risky ontogenetic period. Within the course biological changes of adolescents, their psychosocial problems and family planning issues are discussed. Besides, factors damaging reproductive health of adolescents and consequences of commercial sexual abuse of children are explored. The course also deals with issues of family lifestyle, family law and social-legal family protection. In creating school concept of education towards marriage and responsible parenthood ethical attitude is preferred.

Předmět je vhledem do problematiky partnerského a rodinného soužití v naší společnosti. Vychází z principu křesťanské sexuální etiky, otevírá otázky přípravy na manželství a odpovědné rodičovství. Upozorňuje na negativní důsledky rizikového sexuálního chování. Zahrnuje problematiku výběru informačních zdrojů pro výchovu k partnerství a rodičovství.

The aim of the course is to provide an overall insight into human sexuality and factors of reproductive health in all life periods. It presents sex education (education for parenting) as part of a healthy lifestyle.

Cílem předmětu je poskytnout ucelený pohled na lidskou sexualitu a na faktory ovlivňující reprodukční zdraví ve všech fázích života. Prezentuje sexuální výchovu (výchovu k rodičovství) jako součást výchovy ke zdravému životnímu stylu.
