Cíl kurzu: Seznámit studenty teoreticky a prakticky s morfologickým systémem současné ruštiny v porovnávacím rusko-českém plánu, a to nejen vzhledem ke zvláštnostem systémovým, ale zejména i funkčním. Poskytnout vybrané poznatky z diachronní morfologie, slovotvorby, akcentologie a ortografických jevů souvisejících s probíraným mluvnickým učivem.
