The course introduces basic topics of pedagogical and social psychology relevant for application in educational and school practice. Selected social themes are presented as a product of basic research in psychology and subsequently portrayed as part of the reality of teaching practice and everyday life in the school environment.

Students will be able to:
1. understand appropriate pedagogical and socio-psychological terminology and concepts;
2. understand the complexity of social life and the dynamics of groups;
3. use basic pedagogical and socio-psychological knowledge in pedagogical practice;
4. seek out new and applicable knowledge in contemporary literature.
