The course develops students' ability to formulate a problem, state the goals of a thesis, choose adequate procedures and methods, assess the character, value-added and possible use of the results. Students use their theoretical and methodological knowledge, learn the techniques of scientific work and how to use documentation.

The goal of the course to introduce students to learn how scientific problems may be solved, how to argue and present the results. The course intensifies work with information sources and students' professional creativity can be applied.
