The part of the Listening practice is to arrange selected faculty school (regularly updated by the relevant department). Student is in direct contact with the mentor. It is opportunity to monitor pedagogical situations, which is subsequently apply to the professional practice. The Course includes: keeping a pedagogical diary, collecting the results of pupils´ work, making arrangement for the suggestions for evaluation of the teaching activities, collecting the recommended literature for the reflective practice and creating the portfolio of complex pedagogical situations and their possible solutions.

The practice represents preparation for:

analysis and reflection of the teaching process,

analyzes of the teaching process and assigned tasks with faculty teachers and subject didactics,

process and product in music education - vocal activities,

instrumental activities,

music and movement activities,

evaluation and classification of pupils' musical activities,

solving educational situations in the process of music education,

work with pupils with special needs or exceptionally gifted pupils,

acquaintance with the framework educational programs of individual types of schoolsand their subsequent projection into the thematic areas of the taught subject.

Conditions for granting credit:

  • listen to 12 teaching hours according to the agreed conditions;
  • create a student portfolio (pedagogical diary, notes, tips, advice, aids, collected materials, audiovisual recordings...). For inspiration, I'm sending here a preview of what you can store under the student portfolio and I'm adding a few related notes. Maybe it will be useful. All the material will be useful for the state final exam in HV. You do not hand over this material to the teacher or the PX guarantor, it is intended only for you as part of the preparation of a beginning teacher. However, you will present it during the final reflective seminar.
  • after the practice period, submit the signed DPP and other documents (see above) according to the instructions at the final reflective seminar; always hand over the agreements in an envelope to protect the personal data of the accompanying teacher;
  • create and submit an evaluation of the listening lessons according to this assignment (one sheet for each lesson);
  • in the case of replacing a part of the listening hours through workshops, prepare and submit the workshop evaluation according to this assignment (one sheet for each seminar);
  • SUBMIT THE EVALUATION OF LISTENING LESSONS/WORKSHOPS BY 10/12 to email novotny.vit@gmail.com so that I can study the materials for the final seminar;
  • take part in the final reflective seminar (December 15, 2023);
