The course provides with the basics of translation theory and exercises focused on translation into German, supplementary also into Czech, from various styles. The course includes a translation probe of a fictional text from German into Czech. This course is taught in German and Czech.

Obsahem kurzu je seznámení se základy teorie překladu a překladová cvičení zaměřená zejména na překlady do němčiny a doplňkově na překlady do češtiny textů z různých stylových typů. Součástí obsahu je kurzu je překladová sonda beletristického textu z němčiny do češtiny.
