The seminar will focus on acquiring the basic habits and techniques necessary for translating texts from German into Czech. In the field of theory, the focus will be on the semiotic perspectives of the text, the acquisition of its / foreign / common categories, ie the application of the translation saying "As accurately as possible - as freely as possible." The subject of translation exercises will be texts from various functional style types with special regard to the study of philology and teaching.

Seminář se zaměří na osvojování základních návyků a technik nutných pro překládání textů s němčiny do češtiny. Z oblasti teorie se zaměří na sémiotické perspektivy textu, na osvojování kategorií své/cizí/společné, tj. na aplikaci překladatelského úsloví "Tak přesně, jak je to možné - tak volně, jak je to možné." Předmětem překladatelských cvičení se stanou texty z různých funkční stylových typů se zvláštním ohledem na studium filologie a učitelství.

2. Sémiotické kategorie své/cizí/společné

3. Umění překladu

4. Morfosyntax německého versus českého jazyka

5. Problematika slovníků a jazykových korpusů

6. Exkurz do problematiky tlumočení

7. Průběžná překladatelská cvičení (překlady krátkých textů / úryvků textů z tištěných i elektronických médií: texty prostě-sdělovací stylu; publicistického stylu, odborného styku, internetových blogů a krásné literatury).
