The course builds on the basic concepts and categories of education. The aim is to orientate oneself in the professional literature of the given issue as a necessary prerequisite for professional cooperation between the teacher and the family. Lectures are familiar with the internal structure, meaning, functions and development cycle of the family. Emphasis is placed on obtaining an overview of social, health and educational needs for families with small children. The space will be devoted to the current problems of families with children up to 3 years. • importance, function of the family in relation to the child of the early age, • internal family structure, importance and function of the family in relation to the child of the early age • categorization of families, socio-economic status of the family, • family development cycle, counseling for families, • educational styles in the family, • current family problems, the influence of the family structure on child socialization, • double-career marriage, • support for families with children of the early age, current trends, strengths and pitfalls, • measures to support early childhood families, • EU family policy, Barcelona goals, and working life of families with young children (financial and legislative support), • forms of early intervention, • an overview of current care provision in facilities for children under the age of three financed from public and private sources (corporate nurseries, play groups, crèches, maternity centers, children's centers, etc.), • legislative provision of institutes childcare for early childhood
