The course deals with specific features of genre spectrum and functions of Literature for Children and Youth (LCY), possible approaches to didactic adaptation of literary texts in lectures of German as a foreign language for adults. This course also focuses on the shift in target group of readers initiated by a foreign language code and the perspective of more life-experienced readers.

75% attendance, active participation and doing of occasional assignments. Knowledge of compulsory literature, presentation of one of the books of LCY, by own choice, and its didactic adaptation.
