The course acquaints students both theoretically and practically with the basics of technique and tactics of driving on calm and running water. Rules and principles for safe movement on water. First aid and rescue and self-rescue on the water. Preparation of boating equipment and armament. Basics of camping skills. Water tourism course planning. Basic technique of paddling and steering on a tourist canoe and kayak on calm and running water. The condition for completing the course is the verification of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of canoeing and water tourism.
