The subject of Human physiology acquaints students with the essence of the functioning of the human organism – with the function of each organ system (musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, CNS), but also with the functioning of metabolism, thermoregulation, etc. The acquired knowledge will be the basis for the follow-up subject, Physiology of Physical Exercises. As part of the course, the student is introduced to the basics of providing lay first aid, emphasising the methods of delivering it in life-threatening situations.
Aim of the course -
Last update: Mgr. Martina Chrástková, Ph.D. (19.09.2023)

To pass on the basic knowledge of human physiology to students, to create a basis for the study and physiology of physical exercises.
Mastering the provision of first aid for life-threatening conditions and health-threatening conditions that may occur in physical education.
