Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the course is to gain a safe orientation in literature for children's and female choirs. It deals with children's and female choral singing in its historical development in the context of societal conditions. Basic themes: The development of children's and female choral singing from the Renaissance to the present with special emphasis on the work of contemporary composers. Definition of differences in literature for children's and female choirs. Choir literature in relation to the vocal abilities of singers. Repertoire of school choirs and choirs. Choir literature as a motivating factor in the work with the choir. Selection of compositions and dramaturgy of concerts.
