The aim of the course is to gain a basic overview of the preparation, organization, implementation, evaluation of research on pedagogical phenomena. It deals in detail with quantitative and qualitative methods of research with a focus on its use in special education. It introduces students to various approaches to the development of a professional text, which is the basis for term papers and final papers.

The course has 3 credits according to ECTS, the total time load of the student corresponds to 90 hours.

Direct instruction:              

- 12 hours of lectures

- 12 hours of tutorials

Preparation:

- self-study of literature 20 hours

- preparation of assignments and preparation for seminars 26 hours

Seminar papers and preparation for credit: 20 hours total

In the case of distance learning we will work in MS Teams, students will receive a link in due course. In addition, the Moodle study support system will be used.
