The aim of the course is acquaintance and aesthetic recognition of literary works written by J. W. Goethe and F. Schiller, as well as their cultural and literary work environment. Developing communicative skills in relation to literary and cultural topics. The content of the course consists of topics: analysis and interpretation of selected poetic, prosaic and dramatic works by the mentioned authors according to the List of recommended reading or interest of the participants, e.g. from the work of J.W. Goethe: the novel Die Leiden des jungen Werthers, drama Faust Part One. From the works of Friedrich Schiller such as Kabale und Liebe and selected ballads. Texts of theoretical nature will also be considered. The course has been taught in German.
