The course of the French language (FLE) based on the French textbook Édito 4 (B2) is a continuation of the preceding subject Language Practice and Cultural Studies V. Its aim is to provide the students with French language environment in order that they acquire language skills in oral and written registers corresponding to the level B2 SERR by means of a close contact with current French. The emphasis is primarily laid on the development of language and intercultural competencies. The pillar of each class are language activities, be it the grammatical, lexical, or speech ones. The particularity of the course is the use of follow-up sources for work in class as well as for self-study (Radio Praha, RFI.fr, TV5MONDE.com), and working with topical authentic documents in current francophone context.
