The course is devoted to the preparation of a bachelor's thesis in the form of a seminar in which individual students, under the guidance of the teacher, present the topics of their theses. In the course students should find the topic of their bachelor thesis, formulate its structure and then present it in an approximately 15-minute presentation in the seminar.

Předmět je věnován přípravě bakalářské práce, a to formou semináře, na kterém jednotliví studenti pod vedením vyučujícího představují témata svých prací. Studenti by v průběhu tohoto semináře měli nalézt téma své bakalářské práce, formulovat její strukturu a posléze ji představit v rámci cca 15minutové prezentace na semináři.

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the requirements for a bachelor's thesis in the field of history (formal arrangement, citations, etc.), to specify the topic of the bachelor's thesis and, last but not least, to choose the teacher who will supervise the bachelor's thesis.

Cílem předmětu je seznámit posluchače s požadavky na bakalářskou práci v oboru dějepis (formální úprava, citace a podobně), vyspecifikovat téma bakalářské práce a v neposlední řadě si vybrat vyučujícího, který jim bakalářskou práci povede.

The course is taught in seminar form, so that in the introductory class students sign up for presentations of their bachelor's theses according to the period to which they relate. Seminars devoted to each period are then led by teachers who specialise in that period. Each student should present the topic of his/her bachelor thesis, its structure and sources in the form of a 15-minute presentation. The lecturer will comment on each presentation and lead a discussion on it.

Předmět je vyučován seminární formou, a to tak, že na úvodní hodině se studenti přihlásí k prezentacím svých bakalářských prací podle období, kterého se týkají. Semináře věnované jednotlivým obdobím pak vedou vyučující, kteří se na toto období odborně specializují. Každý student by měl v rámci semináře představit formou cca 15minutové prezentace téma své bakalářské práce, její strukturu a prameny. Vyučující bude jednotlivé prezentace komentovat a vést k nim diskusi.

The condition for obtaining credit is firstly the presentation of the topic of the bachelor thesis in the seminar (PWP, approx. 15 minutes, introduction of the topic, sources and structure of the thesis) and then the submission of a review of the qualification thesis (bachelor, diploma) of at least three standard pages. If the student does not present the topic of the bachelor's thesis in the seminar, in order to receive credit, he/she must submit a PWP with the presentation of the topic of the bachelor's thesis, submit a review of the qualifying thesis, and in addition, submit another review of a book related to the topic of the bachelor's thesis, also of three standard pages.

Podmínkou pro získání zápočtu je jednak prezentace tématu bakalářské práce v rámci semináře (PWP, cca 15 minut, představení tématu, pramenů a struktury práce) a dále odevzdání recenze na kvalifikační práci (bakalářskou, diplomovou) v rozsahu nejméně tří normostran. Pokud student neodprezentuje téma bakalářské práce v rámci semináře, musí pro získání zápočtu jednak odevzdat PWP s představením tématu bakalářské práce, odevzdat recenzi na kvalifikační práci a navíc ještě odevzdat další recenzi na odbornou knihu týkající se tématu bakalářské práce, a to taktéž v rozsahu tří normostran.
