The subject of the study acquaints the students with the foundation of special education. Special education is the discipline of pedagogics, which discusses contemporary problems of education of the pupils with health handicap and with new of integration, humanisation and democration trends of education children, adolescents and adults with different specieses of handicaps

Aims and Objectives of the course: To provide university students of teaching profession with new integrative, humanisation and democratization trends in education of pupils with special educational needs that arise from various types of health and social handicap. To prepare future teachers for integrated education of pupils with health and social handicap.
