The course is conceived as a theoretical and practical introduction to the field of school management, the issue of school running and basic management structures. The aim of the course is to give a theoretical definition and to present the principles of school leadership and management in our country and in selected EU countries.
The course will also include activities, analysis of case studies to connect theoretical knowledge with possible future applications. That will enable students to acquire student competencies needed.
The outcome of the course will be an essay and a colloquium, which will examine student’s fulfillment of the objective of the course.

Seminář Základy školského managementu je koncipován jako teoretické i praktické uvedení posluchačů do oboru školský management, do problematiky chodu školy a základních struktur řízení. Cílem předmětu je podat teoretické vymezení, seznámit s principy vedení a řízení škol u nás i ve vybraných zemích EU.
Součástí výuky budou též praktické aktivity, rozbory kazuistik s cílem propojit teoretické poznatky s možnou budoucí aplikací. Tímto spojením dojde k získání i osvojení potřebných studentských kompetencí.
Výstupem předmětu bude seminární práce a kolokvium, kde bude ověřeno splnění cíle předmětu.
