The course acquaints students with the issue of authority. It analyzes the concept of authority. It deals with the form, segmentation, building and exercising authority in various environments, especially in school education. It tries to answer the question of how the teacher builds and gains authority and consequently loses it.

Using the acquired knowledge of authority issues, the student analyzes, assesses, evaluates pedagogical situations, and seeks possibilities for purposeful work with authority in the school environment.
