Předmět má 4 kredity dle ECTS, celková časová zátěž studenta odpovídá 110 hodinám. Doba očekávané přípravy na 1 hodinu setkání 35 minut, samostudium literatury (za celý semestr) 30 hodin, práce se studijními materiály (za celý semestr) 10 hodin, plnění průběžných úkolů (za celý semestr) 10 hodin. Příprava na zkoušku a zkouška 25 hodin.

The course-unit credit requirements: successful writing of the credit test - open and closed questions (min. 75%). It is possible to use 3 attemps for writing test - one regular, two corrective.

1. Social work and social pedagogy - development of the relationship of these disciplines, the role of social worker and social educator.

2. Client typology. Communication with the client, problems of resolution in case work. Strategy procedures

3. Counselling - social counselling, assistance and counselling, awareness-raising activities.

4. Volunteering. Humanitarian social work. Probation media service. Mediate.

5. Specificities of forensic social work and school social work.

6. Working with a group - group psychotherapy, self-help and support groups.

7. Working with children and family – family as a support institution, identification of family, types of families.

8. Crisis.

9. Field social work. Streetwork, Streetwork. Project.

10. Specificities of assistance, social work with selected target groups and working with them.
