The course inquiries into current trends and challenges of early childhood education and care in Europe. The course content follows the subject Comparative Education taught in the same semester, for theoretical information and allows students to gain experience with the implementation of the comparison of selected aspects relating to pre-primary education. Students will actively work with information sources of the European Commission, OECD, UNESCO, etc. The course focuses on the diversity of education systems and educational reality in European countries. Students will focus on development trends and important topics related to current developments in pre-primary education in Europe. Part of the lessons are dedicated to topics chosen by students during previous lessons. Lessons are conducted through lectures, discussion and active work with information sources. The outcomes of the course are group presentations. Předmět je určen pro studenty, kteří absolvovali bakalářský studijní obor Učitelství pro mateřské školy. Students will learn about development trends and important topics related to current developments in pre-primary education in Europe and enhance their orientation in ECEC in Europe.

Studium zahraniční literatury, zpracování úkolu mezi setkáními a práce v Moodle. Zpracování seminární práce.

Vyčíslení studijní zátěže: 5h přímá výuka, 2h příprava na výuku, 20h samostudium literatury, 7h práce se studijními materiály, 7h průběžných úkolů, 19h seminární práce (esej/ prezentace v angličtině). Celkem 60h. 

 

Pokud bude výuka probíhat v distanční formě, bude realizovaná v MS Teams (studenti získají přístupvá hesla a link v jejich Moodle kurzu).

Podmínky zakončení:

1) účast na výuce

2) zpracování prezentace/eseje: Studenti zpracují práci k vybranému tématu probíranému v kurzu (téma stanoveno po dohodě s vyučující) ve skupinách (2-3 studenti). Výstup je zpracován v angličtině a musí vyhovovat kvalitativně na úrovni obsahu i jazyka.
