During the semester, students will visit various facilities: primary school - 1st and 2nd grade, various types of secondary schools and get acquainted with the real conditions of pedagogical practice. During school visits and lessons, students keep written records of the course of the internship. The internship ends with a reflection seminar. Students will be acquainted with the details of the course of the internship and with specific methodological instructions by the guarantor of the internship before its commencement. It is possible to find out about specific conditions from the guarantor / teacher of the parallel group.

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of this course is to support the interest of students in teaching fields and motivate them to further education, incl. Continuation of the master's program focused on the preparation of teachers of general subjects at primary and secondary schools. Students visit three different school facilities. In the seminar work they will describe their characteristics, compare them and make a separate consideration - reflection on the meaning and content of their activities.

Předmět má 2 kredity dle ECTS, celková časová zátěž studenta odpovídá 60 hodinám. Doba očekávané přípravy na 1 hodinu praxe 20 minut, samostudium literatury (za celý semestr) 5 hodin, práce se studijními materiály (za celý semestr) 10 hodin, plnění průběžných úkolů (za celý semestr) 15 hodin. Seminární práce 10 hodin, příprava na zápočet 5 hodin.

Student will practice in the extent of one semester (total of 60 hours of activities per semester):
2 hours of introductory seminar
4 hours of the final reflective seminar
18 - 20 hours of observational and reflective activities at school
34 - 36 hours of independent work and completion of tasks (filling in observation sheets and creating a portfolio, which will be presented at the final reflective seminar), including self-study
