Individual work by the student accompanied by consultation of chosen procedures with the teaching subject and classmates in Moodle discussion forums and seminars.
Requirements to the exam -
Last update: Ing. Bc. Alena Váchová, Ph.D. (26.01.2024)

The requirements are based on the expectation that the student has already thought the topic of his/her bachelor's thesis, including the research part, and also has the topic of the thesis written in SIS.

Active participation in the seminar at least 50%.

Completion of all tasks assigned for the course in Moodle and their submission by the predefined deadline (it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 60 pts. in each intermediate task). All assignments are mandatory and completion is required for credit. If all assignments are not submitted in Moodle by the deadline or if the student does not obtain a minimum of 60 pts. in each continuous task, he/she will not fulfill all the requirements for successful completion of the course and will have to re-enroll in the course the following year!!

For serious reasons, students may request in writing (by e-mail) to postpone the deadline for submission of the task to Moodle before the given deadline. The student is required to submit the assignment on a different date.

The student will write and submit the credit work, which will include the following parts, by the predetermined deadline:

1. The student will define and write the title, aims, methods and basic ideas of his/her undergraduate thesis and describe why the thesis could be useful for pedagogical practice.

2. The student will submit 10 standard pages of coherent text related to the topic of his/her bachelor thesis.

3. The student will list and attach the research instrument(s) (questionnaire, guided interview questions, observation conditions...) that he/she will use in the research part of his/her thesis.

4. The student will test the chosen research method on a selected sample of people.

5. The student will process the results and evaluate whether the chosen research method and the prepared research instrument will help him/her to meet the objectives of the bachelor thesis.

6. The student will present a list of information sources used that meet the ISO 690 standard.

The student will submit all tasks by the deadline in one complete Word document with the BP header!
