The course presents basic paradigms of health promotion and health care. It defines the issues of health and health literacy and its development priorities. It is based on the WHO Health 2020 program as a curriculum for European health policy for the 21st century. The course focuses on lifestyle issues and related health problems. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the problems of study of health education, motivate them to an active interest in the issue of human health in the context of European health strategy and issues of health education in the context of education
