The course introduces the basic terminology in the field of environmental education, clarifies mutual relationships, introduces the issue of environmental changes over time, global problems, and the importance of consumer education. It also focuses on the pedagogical aspects of environmental education and its use in school and extracurricular practice.

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic terminology, to draw attention to the interconnection of the life of an individual and society with environmental issues. Another aim is to clarify the position, content, methods and importance of environmental education in pedagogical practice.
