The aim of the course is to teach students basic ways of using information technologies in teaching and learning from different perspectives in order to contribute to the understanding of the educational potential of information and communication technologies and to prepare students for effective use of these technologies to support teaching and learning.

Learning outcomes of the course unit the aim of the subject is to acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical competences for work with information sources in teaching and learning and their evaluation; the methodology of application of information sources - the methodical use of information and sources of information, including their use in the field of preparation of teaching materials, follows the above knowledge and competence. Other topics include acquaintance with the legal issues of the use of information technologies in education. Part of the subject is also the creation of thought maps and their application in teaching.
