It is said that the language of physics is mathematics. The aim of the course Physics for Teachers of Mathematics is not to study this field systematically, but it brings to the students a number of physical examples, especially from mechanics, in which the concepts and methods of mathematical analysis, especially differential equations, can be used.
Aim of the course -
Last update: doc. RNDr. Antonín Jančařík, Ph.D. (29.10.2019)

The aim of the course is to show students on a number of examples of applications of mathematics (especially differential equations) in physics.

Course completion requirements -
Last update: RNDr. František Mošna, Ph.D. (06.10.2022)
  • credit requirements: The subject ends with a credit, for which it is a necessary active participation in classes and successful completion of a short final test is necessary, (test consists of simple examples of a mass movement, calculation of curvature, etc.).
