The course presents the basic paradigms of health promotion and health care. It defines the concept of health literacy and its development priorities. Based on the WHO Health 2020 as the framework of European health policy for the 21st century.

The aim of the course is to introduce students of health education, motivate them to actively focus on issues of human health in terms of European health strategy and health education issues in the context of education and training.
