The course develops students' ability to formulate a scientific (research) problem, set the goals of the thesis, choose adequate procedures and methods of processing, consider the nature of outputs, benefits and events. possibilities of using the results. Students use theoretical and methodological knowledge, learn the techniques of scientific work and the use of documentation. An integral part of the seminar is a critical discussion on the projects of individual graduates. The aim of the course is to prepare students for independent elaboration of a diploma task under the guidance of a designated supervisor, or also consultant. Content definition: 1. Characteristics of the diploma thesis, valid university and faculty regulations, formal requirements. 2. Aspects of choosing the topic of the diploma thesis. 3. Cooperation with the thesis supervisor, consultations. 4. Schedule of elaboration of diploma task, duties of graduate. 5. Presentation of diploma thesis, preparation for defense.
