The course brings selected current topics in the theory of education and training, which appear in the current professional discourse in the Czech Republic, or. even abroad. Topics focusing on the theory relevant to regional education and lifelong learning are selected. The aim of the course is to orient students in the current professional discourse of pedagogy and related sciences. Students will learn to look at the issues discussed from different perspectives and create qualified professional opinions on them. Content definition: 1. Current professional and scientific discourse on education. 2. Current problems of pedagogical theory in the Czech Republic and abroad. 3. Reflections on the theory of education in professional media. 4. Selected current topics and their conceptualization. 5. Critical reflection of the discussed topics.
