In this course students participate in the implementation of research on current topics in pedagogy. Students have the opportunity not only to apply their previously acquired knowledge and skills in the field of research, but also to further deepen this knowledge and skills through experience with the development of partial scientific projects under the guidance of the teacher / teachers. The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills that will enable them to independently carry out (empirical) pedagogical research and then publish their results in (international) peer-reviewed journals. Content definition: 1. Planning of research projects. 2. Submission of grant projects, creation of materials for a research project. 3. Overview of pedagogical journals: electronic databases for searching for resources and working with them; study of foreign professional literature; overview studies and their creation. 4. Realization of research: problems of selection of participants, data collection, ethics in pedagogical research, analysis and interpretation of data. 5. Writing a professional article or research report. 6. Publication in professional periodical literature: selection of thematically suitable journals; citation standards and correct referencing, review proceedings in professional journals.
