The course analyzes the anthropological dimension of education, contextualizes the key theoretical problems of human education as a biosocial being. The examples of specific educational questions indicate their interdisciplinary connections and overlaps with natural sciences and social sciences. The concept of the so-called anthropological constants and cultural universals is used as a starting point for the presentation of the anthropological dimension in education. The aim of the course is to develop students' ability to perceive theoretical issues in education through the prism of integral anthropology, ie. with regard to man, his determinants, relationships and needs. Content definition: 1. The concept of integral anthropology and the relations of anthropology to pedagogy. 2. Overview of pedagogically relevant disciplines and subdisciplines of modern anthropology. 3. The so-called anthropological constants and cultural universals as a starting point for pedagogical thinking. 4. Holistic and systemic approach to man. 5. Pedagogical anthropology in the past and today. 6. Current topics in contemporary anthropological discourse.
