Students will be introduced to the principles of observation and reflection as one of the tools of professional development. Based on these principles, selected aspects of English language teaching and learning will be observed and reflected. Used will be video recordings of English language lessons or its parts, as well as observations of real lessons during visiting lower and upper secondary schools. Students will start working with own professional portfolio. Topics: •Professional development of student teachers and teachers. •Professional standards/s. •Theory – practice relation. •Classroom observation. •Reflection. •Professional portfolio.
