The course is based on the basic standard of medical knowledge for teachers, introduces students to the principles of pre-medical first aid. Emphasis is placed especially on the practical training of common tasks performed in lay first aid and on mastering the technique of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Special attention is paid to specific procedures for providing first aid to children of different ages.

The aim of the course is to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will allow them to confidently provide extended lay first aid and avoid the most common mistakes.

The student:

  • is able to apply knowledge and skills in saving lives.
  • is motivated to continuously renew and consolidate the acquired knowledge and skills.
