The course defines a fairy tale as a literary form, it defines its place in children's literature and characterizes the typical features of fairy tales. Students will get acquainted in the course with the importance of fairy tales for the child's development. In the practical part of the course, they will seek to answer the question of how fairy tales can affect the psychological development of the child and what are the possibilities of educational use of their ethical mission. They will use the analysis of selected fairy tales from the point of view of psychology. Aims: Students will gain the ability to provide children not only with knowledge, but also to use the unique atmosphere that fairy tales bring with them. For both, they will consider the possibilities of educational use. 1. Definition of a fairy tale and its place in children's literature. 2. Typical features of fairy tales. 3. Comparison of fairy tales and myths. 4. Psychology in fairy tales. 5. The importance of fairy tales for the child's development. 6. The importance of fairy tales for the development of children's identity and understanding of the world. 7. Fantasy as a help in solving problems. 8. Psychological analysis of some fairy tales.
