The course provides insight into the theoretical background of physical activities in various types of health impairments. It has a motivational character for a deeper study of the issue, it develops a relationship with physical activities and sports. It provides a basis for educational, teaching and counseling activities in the issues of lifelong implementation of health-promoting physical activities. The aim of the course is to gain an overview and introduction to the theoretical background of physical activities in various types of impairment in the broader philosophical, social and in terms of lifestyle of man as an individual. Content definition: 1. Sports and physical activities in relation to health and quality of life. 2. The importance of timely and continuous development of motor skills in human life. 3. Motivation for physical activity and sports activities. 4. Health aspects of physical activities in different age periods. 5. Components of a suitable exercise regime with a preventive effect, risks of diseases (circulatory, metabolic, etc.) in people with lower physical activity.
