The course introduces the concept of children's rights and its background in the philosophy of rights, child psychology and its pedagogical application. It brings an evaluation of the state of implementation at the level of educational policy in the Czech Republic, as well as in an international comparison. He solves model situations in a child's life. The aim of the course is to increase students' awareness of the rights and obligations of children in the Czech Republic. 1. The current concept of the rights of the child (basic human rights documents, the genesis of the rights of the child, the historical stages of the development of knowledge of the child and childhood, the specifics of the rights of the child). 2. Basic knowledge of the constitutional order of the Czech Republic. 3. Convention on the Rights of the Child - 3P principles, Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, socio-ecological model. 4. Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the legal system of the Czech Republic: Convention on the Rights of the Child and Family Law. Solving model situations in a child's life. 5. Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the legal system of the Czech Republic: Convention on the Rights of the Child and social and legal protection of children. Solving model situations in a child's life. 6. Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the legal system of the Czech Republic: Convention on the Rights of the Child and labor law. Solving model situations in a child's life. 7. Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the legal system of the Czech Republic: Convention on the Rights of the Child and school law. Solving model situations in a child's life. 8. Application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the legal system of the Czech Republic: the Convention on the Rights of the Child and health law.
