Following the theory of social pedagogy, the course creates a space for a guided discussion on selected socio-pedagogical topics. Emphasis is placed on practical questions and problems of social pedagogy at school and in the extracurricular area. The course is also a starting point for field practice in social pedagogy, for which students theoretically prepare. The aim of the course is to deepen students' knowledge and skills in practically oriented social pedagogy and to acquaint them with a systemic approach to socio-pedagogical phenomena. Content definition: 1. Social pedagogy as a practical activity. 2. Characteristics of work activities and competencies of a social pedagogue. 3. Methods of social educational activities 4. School and community as a working field of social pedagogue. 5. Ethics in the work of a social pedagogue.
