The subject is called for the students of Choir conducting and Playing the instruments. Its aim is to prepare the future conductors or instrumentalist (violinists or pianists) for organising and commenting vocal, instrumental, vocal-instrumental and other kinds of concerts for different kinds of audience, especially for children and teenagers, but also for adults or seniors. The aim of this course is to understand and explore the basis of musical performance in the process of children’s education. Theoretical lectures are supplemented with audio and video examples, as well as a group visit to a concert. This creates a platform for a critical assessment of different approaches. Students are familiarized with different types of educational programmes (performance at school, family concert, school concert) and their requisites.
